Sol Rodríguez is an Argentinian/Uruguayan actress and model best known for portraying Mercedes “Mecha” Estevez on the Nickelodeon Latin America series Grachi, which ran for three seasons. Rodríguez has since built an international career, including a high-profile role as Sasha Bordeaux in the second season of the HBO Max series Peacemaker, and her appearance as Dr. Teresa Ramirez in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
Rodríguez’s film credits include Holiday in the Vineyards (2019), in which she played Valentina Espinoza, and Seven Cemeteries (2024), portraying Guadalupe opposite Danny Trejo. She appeared as Consuela in Once Upon a Time in Venice (2017), sharing scenes with Bruce Willis and Jason Momoa, and played Gloria in Charlie Says (2018), alongside Matt Smith and Merritt Wever. Additional film work includes her role as Annabelle in Bitch (2017), starring Jaime King and Jason Ritter.
On television, Rodríguez starred as Daniela Mercado in the fourth season of Devious Maids and played Natalia in Party of Five. Her other television appearances include roles on The Dead Girls Detective Agency and Alone Together. Earlier in her career, she appeared in Spanish-language series including Marido en alquiler, Tierra de reyes, and Demente criminal, establishing her presence across Latin American and U.S. television.
Beyond acting, Rodríguez recorded songs for the Grachi soundtrack and participated in the live concert tour Grachi: El Show en Vivo, which toured Mexico and Argentina. She has been recognized with nominations from the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Mexico and Argentina for her early work, highlighting her success as both a performer and entertainer.
