Mick Foley is an American professional wrestler, author, actor, and WWE Hall of Famer best known for his fearless in?ring style and the multiple personas he portrayed during a legendary wrestling career. Born Michael Francis Foley on June 7, 1965, in Bloomington, Indiana, Foley rose to prominence through his work in extreme and hardcore wrestling promotions before achieving worldwide fame in WWE.
Foley is unique for competing under several distinct characters, including Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love, each showcasing different aspects of his personality and storytelling ability. As Mankind, he became one of the most emotionally complex characters in wrestling history, while Cactus Jack embodied unrelenting hardcore intensity. He captured the WWE Championship three times and was a central figure of the Attitude Era, most famously delivering a career-defining performance against The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell in 1998.
